2010 - 2011 Mayor Councillor R. H. McNicholl Function: Thursday, June 24, 2010. Reception for Manx Gateway Drama Group cast and volunteers
A horse, an Indian chief and a gun-toting cowboy were just some of the guests attending a buffet reception in the Mayor’s parlour at Douglas town hall on Thursday June 24.
The guests were Manx Gateway Drama Group volunteers and cast members of Bunfight at the Gateway Corral, a musical show performed at Ballakermeen High School’s studio theatre on May 26 to a packed house that included the Mayor and Mayoress. Councillor McNicholl told his guests they had put on ‘a fantastic show’ adding, ‘I loved it to bits’ and he was presented with a DVD of the performance by director Olga Gray.
