The prize presentation for Douglas Borough Council's schools’ display competition held on July 20 saw Anagh Coar School take home the trophy for overall winner. The school also took first place in the infants' section and Ballacloan Primary School second place. In the juniors' section, joint first prize went to Anagh Coar School and Fairfield Primary School and second prize to Cronk-y-Berry School. Presenting the prizes Deputy Mayor Councillor Stephen Pitts praised all the entrants for their creativity and inventiveness in the ways they interpreted the myths and legends theme.
