Located to the south of the town, Douglas Golf Course is open daily and offers 18 holes of some of the finest golf in the Island. Completed in the summer of 2008, the £1.6 million Meadows Pavilion at Douglas Golf Course not only offers outstanding club house facilities together with a bar and restaurant open seven days a week to the general public, but also a double aspect community room/function suite opening on to a balcony overlooking the 18th green. Capable of seating around 80 guests, the suite is equipped with a sound system, has a dance floor area and an adjoining kitchen. With its magnificent views and on-site car parking for around 80 vehicles the Meadows Pavilion is especially suitable for wedding receptions and private parties, as well as seminars or corporate events. Noble's Park
Noble’s Park is managed and maintained by the Council’s parks section, a function of the Town Clerk’s and Chief Executive’s department.

For several weeks of the year Noble’s Park provides the venue for a number of motor sport events including the famous TT Races when the Grandstand area is alive with international motorcycle racing teams.
National Sports Centre (NSC)
The National Sports Centre, situated in Pulrose, approximately a mile from the town centre, is the Isle of Man’s premier sports centre. Facilities include two sports halls, six squash courts, an indoor bowls hall, a leisure pool, 25 metre competition pool, health & fitness suite, 400m floodlit synthetic running track, 800m raceway and grass and synthetic pitches. From the town centre get bus route numbers 1, 2, 4, 4a, 4b and 14 from Lord Street. Additionally, bus route no. 21 can be taken on the return journey.
