Regeneration and Community Advisory Committee Lead Member Councillor Stephen Pitts said: ‘Douglas in Bloom offers gardeners, whether they’re tending a window box or a patio, an allotment or business premises, the opportunity to be recognised for their horticultural efforts. The competition has not only uncovered some outstanding talent over the years but also complements the town centre regeneration scheme’s aims to create a greener, more attractive Douglas.’
