The 2014 Douglas Borough Council Remembrance Sunday service will be held on Sunday November 9th.
A parade will form at Market Hill at 9.15am and move off at 9.30am through

The service will end at 10.40am to allow time for those present to parade to the War Memorial to observe the two minutes’ silence at 11am, which will be followed by the laying of wreaths.

In the event of adverse weather any or all of the parades may be abandoned. The observance of the two minutes’ silence at the War Memorial will, however, proceed.
Members of local organisations, both military and civil, and the general public are invited to participate in any, or all, of the event.
Between 9am and 12noon parking will be suspended on Harris Promenade and Douglas promenade will be closed between Broadway and the northern end of the Marine Gardens.
