Tot Lot Play Area

The Tot Lot children’s play area is in Noble’s Park and is a popular facility for toddlers and young children under eight, equipped with a selection of play equipment designed to encourage your little ones to explore their creative play in a safe and secure environment. Learning through play helps children to learn and develop and helps to nuture their imagination and give children a sense of adventure.  Through play they learn essential skills such as problem solving, working with others, sharing and so much more.

There are 4 baby swings and 2 child swings, which are good for helping aid your child's development as swinging helps them with their balance, fine motor skills (gripping the chain), gross motor skills (pumping their legs to swing higher) and coordination (putting it all together).  Swinging also helps the brain learn to make sense of speed and direction.

There are also 4 slides, numerous climbing aparatus which are great for also helping your child's development as climbing helps them build up awareness of directions(like up, down, left and right) problem solving and predicting what's going to happen (thinking where their foot should go next and how they will get down from the top),

The painted snakes and ladder board game on the ground is popular as is the cycle track and grassed football area.

We even have our own little library where children can help themselves to books and take them home for some good family time reading.

If you and your little ones fancy a sitdown and a picnic there are plenty of picnic benches and tables available.

The Tot Lot is not supervised thus parents/guardians are responsible for their children who should not be left unattended.

Noble’s Park also has a playground for older children, which is also a safe and secure environment to play in, it has climbing frames, swings, seasaw, basket ball hoop,  obstacle course and lots of seating.

All Council-operated playgrounds, including the Tot Lot, are strictly non-smoking and no dog exercising areas.
