Best Guy competition fires winners' imagination

The winners of Douglas Borough Council’s Best Guy competition, part of the Celton-Manx sponsored fireworks event on Friday November 2, have been praised for their imagination and creativity by His Worship the Mayor of Douglas, Councillor Jonathan Joughin JP.

 

His Worship was speaking at a reception at Douglas town hall for the winners, their families and the display’s sponsor, Celton Manx, represented by head of business development Mike Stanton.

 

His Worship went on to thank the event’s media partner, 3FM for their coverage and to all those Council officers and staff involved in making the display a success.

 

In first place were twins Cerys and Regan, seven and Caoimhe, 10, Sleddon.

Runner-up was Robin Cowie, six and in third place were Katie and Emily Jacobs, eight and six respectively.
