At the National Sports Centre over the weekend of August 24 and 25 Relay for Life Isle of Man raised £87,295.59 for Cancer Research UK. To bring the total to a million over 10 years the charity needs to raise a total of £200,000, so have a further £113,000 to go.

Funds raised in the Isle of Man are nominated to go to treatment centres, research and trials in the North West which directly benefit Isle of Man cancer patients.  With research, people survive cancer, or prolong their lives and quality of life, and thanks to Cancer Research UK, survival rates are improving.
