For the eighth year in succession the challenge was sponsored by Scottish Widows. Managing director Juan Clarke praised everyone who took part and said how he and his colleagues always enjoyed volunteering for the Summer Reading Challenge workshops held at the Henry Bloom Noble Library. He added that 2015 would be the last year when the challenge would be sponsored by Scottish Widows as the business had been acquired by RL360 and future sponsorship campaigns had yet to be identified. Mr Clarke closed by thanking parents and library staff for their support, urging the young audience to 'carry on reading' and saying that the Henry Bloom Noble Library was 'the best library in the Isle of Man'.
